Battery management system is the key part use for HEV,is the linking ligament of battery and HEV,while inspect the state of battery,calculate the state of charge, which is according for the energy flow. This paper research a battery management system use for HEV,while measuring the battery parameters, do research and design in estimate SOC, measure insulation of the batteryjoin the course of high voltage turn on and off ,the calibrate of CAN interface,improve the reliability and precision of the system.The main content of the paper :introduce HEV and MH-Ni battery's characteristics,research the methods for battery parameters ,introduce the hardware of battery management system ,the charts of software,includes the main programs and the program of main parts,research the method which use kalman filter to estimate SOC,introduce the function of insulation measuring,introduce CAN communication and the working theory of CCP calibrating,in last ,introduce the debug of the system and the experiment ,analysis the question of BMS and the change for battery in different experiments,improve the matching of the parameters,optimize the control tactics.Base on a lot of improvement and debugging ,BMS can work well and reliable, is fixed in a few cars,and will work for Beijing Olympic.
