| Circuit breaker takes on very important role which controls and protects power system. Its running affects the whole power system's stabilization and reliability. On-line monitoring of circuit breaker is the precondition and key of condition maintenance. Along with the improvement of sensor technology and signal disposing technology, the monitoring of some uneasy on-line monitoring condition value of circuit breaker could be come true.This paper expatiates on the improvement of exiting on-line monitoring technology of circuit breaker, presents the types of circuit breaker condition value and designs contact temperature and travel on-line monitoring system of circuit breaker based on wireless- communication on the basis of adopting the prior investigation. The system composes by temperature and travel measuring module and up-computer monitoring and controlling module. The temperature and travel measuring module uses infrared temperature sensor and Incremental Optical-electrical Encoder, actualizes un-touched measuring contact temperature and travel of circuit breaker. Up-computer monitoring and controlling module composes by monitoring and controlling procedure and communication cell. The monitoring and controlling procedure sets circuit breaker temperature measuring cycle, collects the contact temperature data of circuit breaker, and responds the signal of circuit breaker cut-off or cut in, and collects the moving-contact travel data of circuit breaker. In addition, communicate between up-computer and measuring module using wireless radio data, avoid the connection of control-cable between temperature and travel measuring module and up-computer.The contact temperature and travel on-line monitoring system designed in this paper takes experiment, is able to actualize the measure of contact temperature and travel of circuit breaker, and the wireless data communication between up-computer and temperature and travel measuring module. |
