With the increasingly fierce market competition, consumer personalization, and requirements diversification makes multi-types, low-volume become the main characteristics of the production in workshop enterprises. As the core in the MES system, whether Job-shop activity management is operated well has a direct impact on the overall implementation performance of MES system. At present, in many enterprises where the MES system is implemented, Job-shop management still adapts manual statistics, focused only on the instructions issued by the planning level while neglect the implementation feedback from the workshop operating level. In view of such defects, to use RFID technology to carry out workshop operation management is of vital importance for improving the modernization management process and make good use of MES system in business workshops.This paper advances a method that put the RFID technology into the workshop for data collecting. It is based on the order-oriented for single-little enterprises of die making. First introduced the principle of RFID systems, compared RFID technology with other automatic identification technology, gave out the advantages and disadvantages between them. Second the method of data collection in the Job-shop has been designed according to the Job-shop flow of machinery manufacturing industries, the function modules of the data collection and processing system has been made. Third, according to the function modules designed before, the database concept model has been made. At the same time the data collecting and processing model has been made. By these models it became easy to revise planning of the Job-shop scheduling and search for the state of product on producing. Finally after a deep research on the communication protocol of T291M RFID reader, the RFID reader functions used in the workshop for data collection has been developed. Build an overall structure and logic model of workshop job data collection and processing system. Using Visual C++6.0 as developing tool, a set of Job-shop data collection and process system which based on C/S model has been developed, this system has successfully achieved the data collecting and processing algorithm model. Last, the operation result has been given.This system not only provides a real-time data for the workshop production schedule and increase the transparency of the shop work but also provides enterprises a reliable support for quality management and reasonable production plan, Conducive to the realization of the automation of Job-shop management.
