Application Of RFID Technology On The Construction Materials Management

With the growing development of people’s demanding on building, it isn’t just used for living at all. High-rise residence occupied the building market graduelly. Therefore, not only the construction material itself but also its intelligent management have increasingly high requirements of mixed-use projects, industrial projects and lanmark projects. The paper researched the application of RFID technology on the construction materials management in order to improve administration efficiency and the core competence of enterprises.The paper proposed the fuctional requirements and improved information flow by the method of qualitative survey on the base of studying on the automated data collection technology and construction materials management in every stage. As combining technology with theory, the article designed construction materials management scheme and its facilities deploment. The applicability of scheme that different projects or materails match the relevent solution is also including in this paper. With the refference of making the technology adoption model of the scheme and analysing datas, rational suggestions about technology plan’s implement are raised in the end.The research on this paper play the guiding role on theoretical and practical significance for construction materials management. It offers academic supports for the research of construction technologycal management and also provides association scheme between information technology and materials management. In pratical aspect, it can not only avoid errors that people made during the construction process but also solve problems which some industry projects that built under the terrible environmental condition exsist. Reducing economic losing by reducing waste and excess materails can help enterprises storage and optimize i ts cash flow.In general, the implementation of the automatic material monitoring scheme can help companies enhance productivity, optimize schedule and control cost and so on. The plan proposed in the paper is easy to administrate for managers because of its transparent operation and intelligent management. It is useful for construction companies to enhance the core competitiveness in the field of building construction.
