Residential Building Sustainable Development Evaluation

There is no doubt that the building construction level, energy consumption, environmental impact and a series of relevant aspect have posed challenges to the social sustainability and economic development. Therefore, residential buildings, which are most closely related to our daily life, always become the thing that people most concerned about. Both the energy consumption for residential buildings in the status quo and the living environment of the construction are the key to sustainable development.Professor Li Angui's Group bears the EU project "Sustainable development of urban residential construction". According to the former work of this research, it is said that complexity and particularity exist in the distribution and performance of residential buildings in Xi'an downtown. Moreover, a new evaluation system with more guidance to Xi'an has already been rebuilt by the evaluation model and quantitative indexes. Based on the finished production and the investigated data, the article mainly discusses the sustainable development of residential buildings from the perspective of evaluation.In this paper, not only the dissatisfaction of existing residential buildings but also the subjective attitudes towards sustainable development of residential buildings are analyzed in terms of the questionnaire. In the evaluation criteria aspect, through the fourth assessment of the professional simulation method and the small sample testing, the applicability and feasibility and related inadaptability of "housing in Xi'an performance evaluation system" created by our group are studied with the 10 selected residential buildings. What's more, the evaluation systems of sustainable development of residential buildings at home and the ones abroad are compared. In the end, through the analysis of the main interest related to the sustainable development of residential buildings, it can be discovered that consumer's awareness and social acceptance are the basis for sustainable development of the whole community.
