Aimed at the difficult problems such as riveting of high strength rivets, large diameter rivets, composite structures etc, this paper put forward a solution of electromagnetic heating riveting which integrated the technology of electromagnetic induction heating and electromagnetic riveting, to be used on manufacture and maintain of Aircraft in our country. Electromagnetic riveting as a new kind of riveting process has been employed in aerospace industry, but the riveting equipment in our country is not good enough to be used. Electromagnetic induction heating is a ripe technology which has been widely applied in production and living field, it break through the limitations of traditionary heating riveting process to be used in rivet's heating. This paper studied the control platform of aircraft electromagnetic induction heating riveting system controlling system, by means of high performance microprocessor, electromagnetic induction theory, power electronics technology. Research achievement as bellow:Firstly, researched thoroughly the theory and application of the electromagnetic induction heating and electromagnetic riveting, analyze the basal electrocircuit, established the structure of the main circuit of electromagnetic heating riveting. And based on these, put forward the general scheme of control system. Constituted the control platform of electromagnetic heating riveting by means of high performance micro processor TMS320LF2407A as the core, the composing and working theory has been introduced.Secondly, according to the performance of TMS320LF2407A and requirements of main electrocircuit, present the detailed design of hardware and software of control system. The hardware design modules are as follows: the micro processor module, the AD collection module, driver module and so on. In the programme designs, the modularization method has been adopted, and the general scheme and part subroutine has been given. The whole system has passed the debugging and met the requirement of the electromagnetic induction heating riveting control system.Finally, based on theory and practice, making use of Lagrange quadratic interpolation method to carry out the temperature control of various specifications and material rivets. Analysis the working environment of heating equipment for rivets and the limitation of traditionary methods of temperature measure, and bring forward the feasibility of temperature control by Interpolation means. Study the Lagrange Quadratic Interpolation function and establish the temperature control strategy. Based on the experiment, constructed piecewise Quadratic Interpolation multinomial, and realized rivet's temperature control by programming. The results indicated that the method has high precision, and the control scheme is feasible.By academic accounting and experimental comparing, the results of control system fulfilled design requirements, and solved the limitations of the current heating riveting methods. The sysetm has high efficiency, dependable operation, convenient manipulation, and flexible expansibility.
