Research On Technology Of Project Management Based On Teamcenter Express

In recent years, with the increasingly fierce competition in the market product development process has become more complicated, and the circle of product development has become higher, thereupon, the functions of project management of the Product Data Management(PDM) sysytem are paid attention to by enterprise gradually, The project management function of Teamcenter Express is rather limited, and it can only use workflow module to manage and supervise its state information. This paper studies intergrated project management tools and technology based on Teamcenter Express, offering a more comprehensive solution for carrying on the project managenment in enterprises. This paper mainly launches the research in the following aspect:1) The background, the development trend and the necessity of PDM-Based project management system are analyzed. The basic framework of project management are described, and the concept of project management is explained in many aspects. With this basis, the integration of project management and PDM system is analyzed, the integrated and systematized method of project management is studied.2) Combined with product development's demand, some problems which need to be solved in project management have been analyzed. Mathematical model and information model have been established. This paper puts forward project management model using progress management as thread based on workflow according to project plan.3) According to the condition of product design and manufacture, the project management system based on the Teamcenter Express has been developed, Through the application in the project pratice, the feasibility and validity of the main theory and technology has been validated.
