Study On General Optimization Of Urban Recreational Space

Recreation, which is regarded as one of four major functions of the city, has already become an important factor of influencing citizen's life satisfaction. Urban recreational space is receiving more and more concerns. Urban recreational space refers to the open space, buildings and facilities lies in the city or the city suburbs, which, having functions such as having a rest, associating, taking exercise, shopping, going sightseeing,etc.It includs several classifications, such as urban green space, sports and cultural facilities, recreational business district and other tourist spots.The thesis surveys the domestic and international case, and summarizes the optimization methods suitable of the urban recreational space.The thesis is made up of six chapters:Chapter I: Introduction, which discusses the background and research meaning of this thesis, as well as the research contents and thinking.It points out the importance of relevant research about the urban recreational space, especially in the situation that the modern society is in great demand of recreation.Chapter II: Theoretical basis, on the basis of defining and distinguishing relevant concepts of urban recreational space, reviews the existing research results according to the discipline classification.This capter also expounds the five major classifications and the three major levels of the urban recreational space.Chapter III: Case study, which analyse various kinds of practice case.In the part of overseas cases, it summarizes the experience of U.S.A. and Denmark, and in domestic part it analyses the relevant planning featuring recreation, involving Urban Green Space System Planning, Urban Public Space Planning, etc.Chapter IV: Summary of general rules.It analyses the common problems of urban recreational space of our country at first, then proposes the optimization method of the urban recreational space.Chapter V: Empirical research,takes Wuxi for example, It investigate the current situation of Wuxi's urban recreational space.After surveys and analyses the recreation demand, it puts forward the corresponding optimization measure aiming at sufficiency.Chapter VI: Epilogue, after proposing thinking relevantlly, it summarizes the full text.The thesis has about 63,000 Chinese characters and over 80 illustrations.
