Gear drive system as a important part of mechanical system, its working performance influence on entire system importantly.The definition of virtual prototype technology is generalized in the text, the solving of load is the basic of the dynamic problem, in the text the multi-body dynamics modern is built based on virtual prototype technology. The transient motivation load is solved, and the solve process is regulated.Two different build model method are applied to gear drive system multi-rigid body dynamic model, the result of different model are compared, the two method are appraised, and the interface program of software is searched.As the dynamic behaviors of gear system do not gain from analysis based on multi-rigid body dynamics, the gear drive system transient dynamic performance are analysis through finite-element analysis method in the text ,and the solve process is regulated. MSC.Marc as the solver of the non-linear contact character analysis.The boundary condition and load are searched in the process of gear elastic contact finite-element analysis, the method of rigid body control is used for application of rotational speed and torque, and the availability is proved by the analysis result. The stress wave propagation theory is applied to the gear drive analysis in the text, the stress propagation condition in mesh case will be searched base on finite-element method, the new means will be supplied for gear dynamic design.The transient dynamic model is designed and realized in the analysis process mentioned above, the solve of transient motivation load is completed, and the solve process is regulated; Based on the finite element solver process, the gear contact analysis is completed with MSC.Marc solver, and the elastic deformation and transient stress distribution are researched by the result; The gear dynamic stress is numerical simulation based on stress wave propagation theory.
