China's Traditional Arditectural Decoration In The Application Of Modern Design

Tradition and modernism have been a conple of nodes,that could not be comperhended easily.With accelerated process of globalization,the collision of the foreign moderm cuftuer and the Chinese traditional culture brings enormous challenge to Chinese architects.It has become a hot issue for contemporary Chinese architects to make great effort to find a way to resrve and develop our national culture in the tide of globalization,and set up a new way of modern design which not only has the Chinese characteristics but also has the spirit of the times.Under thar cultural background,through the analysis of the Chinese traditional architectural culture,this paper illustrates the necessity and urgency to carry out the modern conversion of the language of the Chinese traditional buildings.Based on some examples this paper makes some exploration about the methods and the principles of the modernized expression of the traditional architectural language.The main content is divided into five chapters:Chapter 1 simply illustrates the research background of the modernizde expression of the language of traditional buildings,the development of the relevant expression of the language of traditional buildings,the development of the relevant documents and Chapter2, commencing of the topic and purpose,meaning and methods of research, etc, Chapter2, commencing from the comcept of the culture and tradition, summarizes the developing procsess and the expression characteristics of the Chinese traitional architectural cultures Chapter3, firstly reviews a-hundred-year exploring process of inheriting and developing the traditional architectural culture,then carries out a thorough analysis Chapter 4.proceeding from the viewpoint of the architectural seniology, introduces the essential characteristics of the traditional architectural language and analyses the construction and the main characteristics of the language systen of Chinese traditional buildings chapter5 makes a datailed analysis of the meaning of the modernized expression of the traditional architectural language,and summarizes the affecting factors and principles of the modernized expression.With summarizes the affecting factors and principles of the modernized expression.with the help of some example, this chapter makes some studies on the conversion skills and the organization methods of the language.This paper canies out basie iescarch on the consuuchon and cultural foundation of the language system of traditional architectural culture.Through exploration of the methods of expressing in moderm architectures,the author tries to provide some new exploring methods, languages and skills to create new Chinese architectural culture for the contemporay architectural design.
