Research And Devement Of Traffic Signal Controller Based On DSP

With the development of the city, the problem of urban traffic crowding was more severity, which required solving urgently. So, traffic control technique for urban roadway is an important topic in control domain and traffic engineering domain. Aiming at the defects of traffic signal controller costliness in price and uncompatibled with other type traffic signal controller's communication protocol signal controller at Nanning city, a low-cost, easy-to-use, reliable traffic signal controller was developed.In this article, on the basis of the comparison of price and function on current different traffic signal controller, it combined the excellence of DSP, The imPlement method of the traffic signal controller based on DSP was put forward, meanwhile, the detailed design of hardware and software was given.The fruits of current domestic and overseas traffic signal controller Was introduced and analyzed,Timing control and the induced control were analyzed.They were practical traffic control methods. The hardware design with the TMS320F2812 as the core unit, the software design and the reliability design were discussed, the network coordination control function was analyzed.At last, the prototype of the traffic controller with Timing control was accom plished .The timing control and different periods timing control was realized at present, and the interface for connecting net and intelligen- tizeing control was set aside.
