Research And Design Of Traffic Offense Information Inquiry System Based On GPRS

On the whole,traffic offense information system has been realized computer processing and online data exchange at the present time.The query of traffic offense information can also be achieved through the traffic police website.However,the pointsman who was on watch on the road and the driver who was driving in other cities could not timely receive the message of traffic offense information for the lack of network. Therefore,some phenomena of traffic offence,such as the faked license plate,could not be easily found,that is,the difficulty of traffic enforcement was increased and the efficiency of traffic enforcement was lower.Meanwhile,the drivers of traffic offence who drived in remote cities or villages could not be received the pertinent education in time,thus the offence must be ocurring again.On the other hand , a network of mobile communicaiton was growing rapidly these days , so the communication of the images,video and voice which was based on GPRS has been widely used.Consequently,it is necessary to establish the system about the traffic offense information through wireless data transmission based on GPRS.GPRS-based system of quering traffic offence message established by this paper was based on GPRS wireless network.The technology about short messaging and MMS video transmission was adopted in the system.Compared with the original system about the traffic offense,the quering channel was expanded through computer and widespread mobile terminal.Thus,the message of traffic offence was able to be queried through a mobile phone.The efficiency of the enforcement on traffic was improved.The social and economical benefits were also boosted. Read,sended,received and stored SMS,MMS and image processing were the key technology of the system.Therefore,the shortage of the system which is about the traffic offense message was analyzed .Then the quering system of the traffic offense was established.A database,SMS and MMS module in the system of the traffic offense message were also designed.Firstly,according to the charactenristics of GPRS network,WAP technology and MMS technical characteristics,the network infrastructure of the traffic offense inquiry system was realized by connecting GPRS Modem with the PC.The detail of the functional modules of the system was summarized in detail which was based on the analysis of the system functional.Then workflow of the system was educed ultimately.Secondly,the traffic offense message database was designed by SQL Server Database.The method of remote database read technology and the public module design and so on was used in the database.The database was taken full account of the SMS,MMS modules and the functional requirements of the information storage.Finally,based on the deep understanding of the method for sending and receiving message,the traffic offense information inquiry system was realized to send and receive messages.This paper focused on the disposal of the traffic offense pictures and the implementation process of MMS.The implementation flow chart,the encapsulation protocol,the wireless network connection protocols and the sending protocols of MMS were mainly studied.Through the interception of the main data stream in the process of MMS implementation,and with reference to related specifications 3GPP and WAP Forum,such as WAP-209-MMSEncapsulation,OMA and so on,the MMS was sended by using C# programme.
