The original fault diagnosis system for the regional power grid has been already applied in Lanzhou and Ordos, which have got through the actual fault in the grid and gained good reputation in practice. But the operation practice shows that there are a lot of wrong information in the data transmitted by the existing SCADA/EMS, which result in the inaccurate startup of fault diagnosis system and have a bad impact on the application effect. Based on the operation practices, the wrong information identification in the data transmitted by SCADA/EMS is studied in this paper.According to the grid secondary system, the knowledge included in fault information, abnormal information and state-change information in SCADA/EMS database is classified and summed-up based on the expert system. Combined with forward inference, the relation of various data is analyzed, so that a complete power grid secondary system model is established. Based on the secondary system model and accompanied by variable information of measurement, the wrong information identification can be realized. Working with the fault diagnosis system for the regional power grid, the two models can fetch up the shortage of wrong information identification in diagnosis system, so that the diagnosis system's accuracy is improved.
