RF High Power Test And Application

With the development of radio technology, test and measurement on microwave or RF become more and more important. Specifications of all kinds of electronic instruments will directly affect the performance of related electronic equipments and systems, and demands on each specification of RF signals become more and more exact for the development of electro-information technology, which brings about synchronous improvements in all kinds of RF test instruments. Modern electro-test technology has already become important part of electronic technology. Based on practical engineering of RF high power this paper introduces test technology and fundamental principles of spectrum analyzer and power meter, and then emphasizes to narrate the signal spectrum analysis and power measurements, analyzes error occurrence mechanism during test, makes error estimation of test system, and puts forward the key factors on improving test accuracy. Finally, through an example in engineering application the paper makes an detailed analysis of instruments selection, specification test and error estimation in RF high power test system.
