Study On Remote Monitoring Of Hydraulic Turbine Governor System Based On Virtual Instrument

According to the fast development of remote monitoring and diagnose technology and the need that are stability, safety and reliability of hydraulic turbine governor of hydro-power plant, the technique of virtual instrument is introduced into hydraulic turbine governor system, and the remote monitoring system of hydraulic turbine governor system is built. The remote monitoring system not only achieves the function of remote monitoring and performance analysis, and also realizes the test of hydraulic turbine governor.Considering the data acquisition, hardware of remote monitoring system of hydraulic turbine governor system is built, and we make certain the analog and numeric datum needed by the system. As to data communication, after analyzing all of communication mode based on virtual instrument, DS and Remote Panels are selected.The reason of monitoring the parameter of governor system is that it's whole performance should be analyzed. So the method of analyzing performance index based on operating state is introduced. This method can distinguish and coordinate the data from the same operating state. By getting all the data together to the operating state of unit, the data itself is not dispersive any more. So we can analyze the hydraulic turbine governor system across-the-board and get the exact diagnose.In this paper, frequency generating program is compiled and the continuous pulse is achieved based on the studying of the theory of frequency generating of NI data acquisition card. At last, the frequency, which could be generated accurately at will, meets the need of the test of hydraulic turbine governor system.Data base that is built in the system not only realizes the function of data storage and transfer, and also provides a convenient platform to the other soft module. According to the need of test of hydraulic turbine governor system, the test software is compiled and can be taken automatically, which makes the experiments of hydro-power plant more automatic.The remote monitoring system of hydraulic turbine governor system has been applied to experiment power plant of xi'an university of technology. The operating result is very perfect.
