With the rapid development of China railway and brought in railway advanced technology from foreign countries, the mode and management of rail transportation have been changed, which requires higher for the development of modern rail transportation and management.Locomotive depot is in a very important position within railway departments, which provides the traction power in rail transportation, implement the locomotive maintenance and service, and the management of train drivers. The normal operations of locomotive depot insure railway transportation running continuously and properly. To ensure train running punctually, safely, smoothly and comfortably, locomotive service is necessary for routine maintenance work before dispatching. Good condition of the locomotives and healthy of the train drivers can be guaranteed by service. This paper studied the modernized integration of the service facilities for electric locomotives in locomotive depot. The development of locomotive service informatization directly affects the various operations subsystem in locomotive depot and the mode of modernized integration of the service facilities. This paper started the development trend of railway locomotive service informatization and then analyzed requirements, networking and performance of the information system.According to the development trend of locomotive service informatization, this paper proposed two characteristics for modernized integration of the service facilities - intelligentization and informatization, established mode of modernized integration of the service facilities for three-layer control management structures and created system networking based on fast Ethernets, adopted management mode of office department based on the combination of C/S and B/S, and implemented service integration management based on the work flow in office automation mode under which the performance requirements for integration of the locomotive service facilities can be implemented. It is studied in-depth that functional requirements of key facilities and implementation method. The engineering design is carried out from final research results and achieved the effect in practice.
