Our country history culture is glorious, the territory is vast, the history village and towns are numerous. They are true portraiture of tradition culture , folk custom amorous feelings and art of architecture. They reflected the arteries and veins of history culture and social development and were our precious inheritance leave from our forefather. In the process of townishness, large amount of history village and towns which having precious value were destroyed in varying degrees. It is still having a lot of problem in the protection of history village and towns. Aiming at a lot of problems in protection of history village and towns, the writer marched on large quantity of survey on the spot, and analyzed and summarized the actuality and the practice experience of the protection and development, and discussed the harmonious development of the protection and the tourist exploitation of the history village and towns, combining the practice if the layout of the Zhangbi ancient fortress.In the dissertation, the writer firstly introduced the general situation of this task, expatiated the characteristic and the value of the history village and towns, and discussed the research present conditions and meanings of the protection and development of the history village and towns. Based on the deep research on the whole protection situation of the history village and towns, surveyed on the spot in more than thirty ancient village and towns in Shanxi, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shan'xi, Hebei six provinces, and priority studied six typical village and towns. The writer discovered the personality and the common character problem by analyzing and contrasting, and carried on the countermeasure to solve the problem. Based on the deep analyzed the history value and protection situation of the Zhangbi ancient fortress, through the research on the layout of the Zhangbi ancient fortress, priority protected by point, line and faces. And combining with actual situation, marched on the delicate plan of tourist exploitation of Zhangbi ancient fortress.The conception of this dissertation was to sum up the actuality and the theory, and based on the practical research, put forward some actual question of the task. And tried to put the conception into reality, hopping to offer some reference and experiences in further research on protection and development in history village and towns.
