Elementary Introduction Of Barrier-free Facilities Construction In Public Environment

Barrier-free design is put forward as the aging problem in the world is getting more and more serious. Proceeding from international development history of barrier-free environment design, basing on the study of the behavior characteristics and physical and mental requirements of the disabled and the aged, by making an on-the-spot investigation of the barrier-free facilities in Australia and New Zealand, this paper finds out the current situation of the consummation of barrier-free facilities in developed countries and disparities between our country and the developed. This paper then analyzes development situation and existing laws and regulations of barrier-free facilities in Jinan, followed by suggestions in accordance with the situation so as to provide a new thinking orientation to arouse more concern and more understanding for promoting barrier-free environment construction and creating a free and equal human-oriented space.The outline of the paper is as follows:1.Puts forward the problem of barrier-free design and gives its definition, purpose and significance.2.Situation of barrier-free design at home and aboard .3.Current situation of barrier-free building and existing problems in Jinan.4.Measures to strengthen barrier–free building in Jinan.
