Propose Mixed-Income Housing, Construct Mingled Community

It's over twenty years since the reform and open policy, Along with the dramatic changes of social and economic system in China, there are changes and differentiation in the structure of social classes. Especially in the recent ten years, the disparity of the city peoples'income continually enlarged. So there is a housing space resources differentiation which caused by the income differences, thus has caused a city housing space differentiation pattern. Simultaneously, it directly caused the residential isolation phenomenon more and more obvious between different social classes. If does not take advantage of the current phenomenon clear, promptly to guide and improve, it will certainly to initiate a series of deep society problems in the future..Therefore, basing on the residential space differentiation phenomenon home and abroad , this paper analyzed the causes, the system and the characteristics, posted the core argument "propose mixed inhabitancy, construct the mingled community under appropriate conditions" as an effective way to improve the residential isolation phenomenon caused by the residential space differentiation of different classes. Finally, basing on the practices and experiences from domestic and foreign, it proved the way to realize and the feasibility of " mixed– income housing ", which provide the theory suggestions and the instructions for the practice in the future.
