Concrete spreader is one of main mechanical equipment for spreading and the performance of the automated leveling control system takes an important role in getting the flatness of the road. With the swift development of road construction, the requirements for smoothness of road surface are more and more increasing. So, there has an important realistic meaning to research on the automated leveling system of the concrete spreader.In the thesis, we research on control strategy of the automated leveling control system and its design based on PC. At first, in the paper, we researched control mode of the automated leveling system and analyzed operating principle of the home-foreign automated leveling controller. Based on that, we established a scheme that fit on the automated leveling electrical and hydraulic control system, then not only analyzed its system theory and designed the control system but also selected the type of the each element and tested the characteristic curve and so on. Based on it, we used PCI and PC as control core and designed peripheral input and output drive circuit, using two-axle sensor and optoelectronic encoder to realize real-time monitor task of the ironing plat in the hardware. In the software, we take use of VB to program the control system, because the program language, which fit non-professional to develop and has good efficiency, has large advantage over other software development platform.On the hand of software design, we use modularization design principle because this method easy to debug the control system. After realizing the basic function of the automated leveling control system, we used the multiple filter method of hardware and software to control the system and solved the sever interference of the automated leveling control system.In the paper, we applied digital PID into concrete spreader model, using two-axle sensor to measure the angle of gradient signal of ironing plate and using optoelectronic encoder to measure the height signal of ironing plate. The two pool of signal were collected by data acquisition card, then after comparing and analyzing with control system, we gained two groups of deviation signal then used these signal to control the electrical and hydraulic system and got the target of adjusting ironing plate. Use software to real-time record the data of motion trace of ironing plate. With these data that can describe many points, and then can obtain a real motion trace curve of concrete spreader ironing plate.
