With the advent of information age, the world of education is also thinking of changing. In order to adapt to the development of education ideas and teaching mode in new era, the changes of the present primary and secondary schools have taken place in the function layout and space model, it have transformed from the original space of a single function into a study space with multi-functional and flexibility use.At the same time,The variability of students' teaching activities in the day-to-day in the primary and secondary school, thus makes the existing teaching space been unable to meet the new changes of teaching model. And the change of the student scale has caused the change of the school space utilization ratio. In the above changes, the new teaching mode and users offer the updated and higher requirements to teaching space.Thus, how to make the school building into a learning institutions with an open, multi-function integrated and the flexibility and adaptability use, this becomes the focus of attention of educators and designers. In order to meet the requirements to teaching space from the new teaching mode and users in the information age, the study on the design methods of the versatile space has important reality and the front significance.Based on the above background, this paper takes the general education space in primary and secondary schools as study goal. At first, the article was followed by investigations in China's ordinary schools and special schools, and summarized existence's question and the experience. Then the article embarked from the change of the foreign teaching mode and the corresponding development of teaching space.Next by using the methods of contrast and reference, the article carried on the analysis to the overseas educational model's evolution and the corresponding teaching space pattern, then carried on the discussion to new educational model and the corresponding teaching space in terms of the development in the overseas and the compatibility in our country's. Combined with the above two, in terms of the psychological needs of students , this article analyed the necessity on the research of the school multi-Italy space, thus provided design basis for the construction of multi-Italy space. Once more, the article compared with the examples of excellent schools in domestic and international, then summarized characteristics of shape constitution and the combination pattern, and the spatial constitution method. Finally combined with the concrete example in domestic and foreign schools, separately from compound and dynamic two angles, from the spatial structure, the space own and the spatial contact surface, and so on several aspects, the article proposed adaptability principles and strategies on the design of multi-Italy ordinary teaching spaces in primary and secondary schools. Then further analyzed each kind of construction strategy from practice achievements in the overseas school as well as compatibility in our country's two, thus utilized the theory in the practice, made the compatible transformation to our country's teaching space. This article proposes to provide the reference for the rationalization design of school space in future.
