The structure of short-leg shear wall is an intergradation of structure style between erose-section-column frame and conventional shear wall structure. This kind of structure can gain better economical benefit and excellent structural function. It is good to energy saving as well. Short-leg shear wall has become one of the most important structure forms for residence projects with 10-25 stories.Nowadays the structure of short-leg shear wall is widely used for its versatile advantages on architecture and structure mechanism in residence projects all over the country. But it is short of enough experimental and theoretic bases, which cumbers healthy development of short-leg shear wall. On the basis of the cyclic loading experiments on T-shaped short-leg shear wall,some nonlinear finite element analysis of T-shaped short-leg shear wall under monotonic loading is studied on theory and experiment for discovering the internal force regularity distribution of T-shaped short-leg shear wall.The main achievements of the dissertation are listed as following:1. According to tall residential system's development and feature of short-leg shear wall which is compared with some typical framework structures and conventional shear wall structures, structure of short-leg shear wall is clarified to be the most important structure form for residence projects with 20-30 stories.2. A state-of-the-art on nonlinear finite element analysis is retrieved.According to the characteristic of the mechanics of T-shaped short-leg shear wall, the constitutional relationship be adopted according to the intention of analysis.3. Selecting 9 specimens of T-shaped short-leg shear wall with different depth to thickness ratio,different ratio of axial compressive force to axial compressive ultimate capacity of section, different loading direction,we do the experiment on the specimens under cyclic loading,try to discover the internal regularity and characteristic of sufferness- distortion- distraction of T-shaped short-leg shear wall.4. On the basis of the experiments, some nonlinear finite element analysis of T-shaped short-leg shear wall under monotonic loading is studied.5. Comparing with the two results from various acpects can confirm the results of finite element analysis and the experiments tallies well and discover the internal force regularity distribution of T-shaped short-leg shear wall.6. The above results prove that the shear-lag effect is in existence.I make the preliminary theoretical analysis on causesof the shear-lag effect try to propose a new nonlinear model for T-shaped short-leg shear wall.
