| With the development of engineering technology, the forms of the tall building gradually diversify in recent years. In order to meet with the new demands of high storey buildings' bodily forms according to architect arts and city layout, connected building is composed of integer, which is connected with several buildings through some storey or a few large hole in the facade. The span of connector is several meters or tens meters, and a connector or several connectors can be disposed along with the buildings' vertical. Because of the existence of connector, the former independent each monomer structure is a part of a complex system, and the former independent vibration each monomer structure interacts under earthquake action, and the mechanical reaction is much more complex than monomer structure and multi-tower structure without connector. And the phenomenon that the coupled vibration and torsion increasing is appeared. Therefore, the setting of connector changes the dynamic characteristic of the structure.According to different connection mode for the connector and towers, connected structure is classified into strong connection mode and weak connection mode. When the connection mode for connector and two towers is rigid connection or articulated connection, it is strong connection mode, the connector can assort with two towers and they can bear force in common. When the connector is so weak that it can not assort with two towers and can not make two towers work in common, the connection mode can be weak connection, it is that, one end of connector is connected with tower building by articulated connection, however, another end of connector is connected with tower building by sliding support, otherwise, two ends of connector are connected with two tower buildings by sliding supports. At this time, two towers work independently, and the force of connector is little. When damper is used as position limit device, the connection mode is weak connection mode. The connection mode can reduce the force of connector and supports, and it also can control the vibration of connector, making the vibration be in the allowable range.The influence for connection mode and connector span on the dynamiccharacteristic and response of connected structure under earthquake action is mostlyconsidered in the paper, and several kinds of different connection modes and connector span are respectively considered. And asymmetric double-tower structure is considered for connection mode, symmetric double-tower structure is considered for connector span. The connection mode researched in the paper contains rigid connection at two ends, articulated connection at two ends, articulated connection at one end and rubber support at another end, rubber supports at two ends, rubber supports and dampers at two ends. And the connector span considered in the paper contains 12m,18m,24m,30m,36m. These structures with these connection modes and connector span are respectively modeled, analyzed and computed by finite element analysis software, and then the results are got and analyzed, thus getting the results of influence different connection modes and connector span on connected structure. Then, according to existing test condition, the dynamic performance test and excitation test are conducted for the test model of connected structure with steel support and damper, and the finite element analysis result is proved by the test. Eventually, the problems are summarized and the related conclusions are got, meanwhile, the further research direction is pointed out. |
