With the development of production, gears drive are used widely. Because double circular arc gears have some advantage, which has the very high contact intensity and the bending strength, all the used circular arc gears are the normal circular arc gears. So-called normal circular arc gear, refers is with it conjugate basic gear -rack plane of normal section tooth profile is the curve—basic tooth profile curve which several sections of circular arts curves organically is connected constitutes, because the normal section tooth profile of basic gear-rack is the circular arc curve, the normal circular arc gear has two malpractices that are the sensitivity of theoretically contact position to inaccuracy to be too big and the insufficient gear flexural strength. In the literature Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear is precisely proposes under such background.This article is takes fashioned principle according to cutting tool machining to aim at Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear to carry on the three dimensional parameterize modeling. First by the meshed principle to obtain Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear's end surface tooth profile equation; Then uses Pro/E software with the aid of Pro/E Program carries on the programming, has carry out self-propelled model production by the parameter actuation,thus successfully has carried out parameterize three dimensional modeling of Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear and Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear parameterize subgroup assembling.Double circular arc gears are the complex special helical gear, and the design of the profile parameters is very flexible. Therefore, in this dissertation, it is very important to study the tooth profile parameters optimum on double circular arc gears by means of modern design method and computer technique. Considers seamless integration among Pro/Mechanism and ProENGINEER, after established the Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear three dimensional finite element model then leading-in Pro/Mechanism to carries on the parameterize assembly. Subsequently leading-in Ansys/Workbench finite element analysis software, by using finite element procedure fore treatment and post processor module, carries on the contact stress analysis. Then through sensitivity analysis about setting rate of tooth thickness for Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear, obtained the contact stress 's change of Quasi-transverse-circular-arc Gear along with the setting rate of tooth thickness change situation. On the basis of this,the suitable value range of tooth thickness ratio has been proposed, so that the meshing characteristics of quasi-transverse-circular-arc gear will be further studied.
