Research On Green Product Configuration Based On Case-Based Reasoning

Green design can satisfy the green consumption from consumers and is the inevitable choice to conform to the sustainable development. The old Design experiences indicate that only dose the green design methods combined effectively with existing design method could the designers master the green designer method. As one of the key technologies of Mass Customization, product configuration method has been researched more widely and deeply, and forms a sound and mature theory. The design method based on product configuration has been widely applied in manufacturing. So, integrating the thought of green design into the product configuration and carrying on green product configuration is one of the efficient ways to practice green design.Based on the analyses above, methods of green design and product configuration based on case-based reasoning is integrated and a Green design method based on product configuration is given on this paper. Via analyzing the hierarchical process the green products, the green design case base is built. Similarity arithmetic of Case Retrieval is given by analyzing the case-based reasoning method. By using hierarchical Retrieval Strategy and back-tracing arithmetic, the speed of case Retrieval is fasted. Then the evaluation method of green product is show via analyzing the characteristics of the green product. Finally, an example of Soybean milk Extractor configuration is given to show the feasibility of this method.
