The Research On Space Development Of National Historical Cities

Since three batches of historical city names be announced in our country, the protections of historical cities is implemented mainly on cultural relic protection units, historical streets and whole structure of ancient cities. The protections of the space development in historical cities is becoming perfect gradually.With the development of economy and society in our country, how to handle the relationship between new and old spaces,whether control the capacity of a city,how to continue the original space texture,how to keep its sustainable history ,is becoming the problem which should be resolved now for these historical cities .The society, government and the relevant circles haven't payed attentions to the conflicts between new and old space.There is so little summary on the theories of space mode with the history, modern and future in these historical cities.We should predict sciencelly and guide validlly on the development of space mode for these cities.This thesis tidy up and summarize the charter and related laws with these historical cities,consulting the history, culture, sociology, ecology, architecture, urban planning and relevant theories, using various methods, like contrast analysis ,the space analysis, theory combine with practices etc.Summarize the space modes of historical cities,refine space factors,and apply it to the research on space development of Huai'an.With the research of Huai'an's classic space structure——"three cities connected together",study the space mode which will develop continully in the different stage,put forward a future space mode which will be suitable to Huai'an——"cities conected together".The space research on Huai'an will be helpful to other historical cities.
