This paper developed a visual instrument system about electric-motor parameters monitoring based on USB2.0 type MCU-CY7C68013A.The system is composed of hardware circuit and software system.The signal source comes from Miniate and Median three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor which is the most widely used today.In the sysytem,we can get the measurements of the Asynchronous Motor with Current, Voltage,Frequency,Torque,Harmodic and Temperature ,etc.USB2.0 communication protocol,the Theory of Motor Parameter Test, Automatic Test System, System of Virtual Instrument involved are illustrated and the development of the system is clearly analyzed.Data acquisition system hardware core is based on CY7C68013A and Max 1295 A/D unit. Aslo the MCU—ATmega64 is applied in our system ,it can shorten the cycle of instruction and make the data transmission rate match with CY7C68013A,so we improve the rate of Data Acquisition and Transmission in the system. CY7C68013A integrates the USB2.0 transceiver, SIE and a programmable peripheral interface in a single chip.This hardware design is more convenient and the cost is lower than the design by general data acquisition card. It has the characteristic of Plug&Play of USB bus. It is easy to realize integration of embedded-system.Firmware, USB driver and advanced application program constitue software system. The firmware is designed in Keil C51 developing environment,the USB driver realized the controlling of USB fixture. Advanced application program is developed by VC++ language.The system possess the function of opening and closing the USB device, codes downloading on line,Data Sampling and its Processing,Data save and display,etc.The system we designed in this paper linear the Technology of Artificial Intelligence, processing technology of digital information,High Speed Interface Technique. It realized the data communication between USB type MCU and platform of computer software,integrated the advantages of both. In this paper,we provided a high efficiency and portable system about electricmotor parameters monitoring.
