Design Of Wireless Acquisition System For Power Metering Based On GPRS

Because power metering directly related to the management of the economic efficiency of enterprises and users burden,the accuracy and reliability of power metering has been the focus of attention of electricity sector and electricity users.To further enhance stability and security of power metering and reliability and integrity of data transmission,and with in-depth study of power metering technology and GPRS communications technology,this paper designed and implemented a data acquisition system.for power metering with a variety of functions based on GPRS network and the integration of computer technology and database technology.This paper gives a discussion on the network construction and work principle of GPRS,Based on that make compassion of scheme and analysis of requircment and fuction,then chosen a GPRS communications programmes which meet the demand,and determined the structure of the system.Data acqusition terminal hardware and software which is key parts of the system are focus of research and design.According to which the analysis and design of each functional modules of terminal hardware are made; also the implement and debugging of terminal circuit board are carried out.The terminal structure is simplified and the cost and power consumption will be much reduced.Combined functional characteristics and gross structure of this system,the control center software is designed with the powerful network programming function of Microsoft Company's Visual C++ programming software.The software which is scalable extensible implement that clloecting data from terminal automatically.The system proposed by this paper can meet the demand for power system applications,and it would be widely used and get great economic and social benefits.
