Now, as a very complicated high-rise building, frame-supported shear wall structures with transfer stories are widely used. However, by now, the relative research on the structures has been not enough, especially under earthquake. What's more, the present codes and technical specifications haven't specific provisions. So, in this paper, the seismic responses of the frame-supported shear wall structures with transfer stories are further studied on the basis of the achievements gained by former scholars.The seismic responses of frame-supported shear wall structures with transfer stories are almost elastic under frequent earthquake. Firstly, general theories on elastic dynamical analysis are introduced. Then, by analyzing the elastic responses of a frame-supported shear wall structure with a transfer story, dynamical characteristics with the transfer story located at different height and slabs based on the hypotheses of elasticity and rigidity respectively are discussed. The reasonable number of modes is confirmed through analyzing the responses of single mode with transfer the story located at different height and the seismic responses of the structure with different numbers of modes. The seismic responses of the transfer story and lower stories with the transfer story located at different height are investigated under the different hypotheses of slabs by mode analysis method of earthquake response spectrum. Finally, analyzing structure lateral deformation with the transfer story located at different height by elastic time history analysis.The seismic responses of structures are elastic-plasticity under rare earthquake, which are different from the elastic seismic responses of structures. Firstly, in this paper, the development and present situation of nonlinear static analysis are introduced, and its theory foundation is discussed. Then, the lateral load patterns, higher modes and seismic performance evaluation in the procedure of nonlinear static analysis are investigated. At last, taking example for the frame-supported shear wall structure, the seismic performance of the structures is studied under rare earthquake by different methods of seismic performance evaluation, and reasonable height of the transfer story is recommended.
