Point-supported glass curtain wall is a new kind of curtain wall and developing quickly, and it was applied in engineering recently. With self characters in design, manufacture and installment of glass plate, metal connector and supporting structure, it's supporting condition is very different from traditional curtain wall. Point-supported glass curtain wall is a new style of structure, the analysis of which is a new research subject. Form a set of complete, systematic and scientific theory of structural could not without study of loading property and deformation property. The main point of the thesis is just to research loading property and deformation property of the glass plate of point-supported curtain wall, and study factors that influence the loading property and deformation property of point-supported glass plate.The influences on the bearing and deflecting capacity of laminated glass under uniform load which product by the parameters of pointed-supported glass were the main research points. By analyzed the influence of every parameter, the maximum deflection calculation formula of the laminate glass plate was gained.At first the theory that small deflection of sheet was recommend, the point-suopported glass plate could be assumed as sheet. The theory small deflection of sheet, Geometrical Condition, Physical Equation, Balance equation and Boundary Condition were expounded. Also the calculate theory and the calculate method of ponited-supported glass plate were introduced.Complete model of ponit-supported rectangle glass plate, calculated maximum stess and maximum deflection of toughened glass plate and laminated glass plate through the finite element software -ANSYS, analyzed the results of calculate and combined with correlative mechanics principle, the infuencing law of bearing and deflecting capacity which product by the the parameters( d,c,t,a ) of point-supported rectangle toughened glass plate was gained, these connection charts between the parameters and maximum stess and maximum deflection were gained by data processing sotware-origin, the infuencing law of bearing and deflecting capacity which product by the the parameters( d,c,t,a ) of point-supported rectangular laminated glass plate was gained, these connection charts between the parameters and maximum stress and maximum deflection were gained by data processing sotware-origin.On the foundation of the maximum deflection calculation formula of four sides-supported laminated glass plate, compared with experimental data of literature, calculate data of ANSYS, calculate data of JGJ criterion fomula, and calculate data of CECS criterion fomula, combined with theory of Hoff and through result of the finite element analysis, the maximum deflection calculation formula of the laminate glass plate was gained. Compared with the experimental data of literature, the maximum deflection calculation formulao of the thesis was isconformed with experimental result.
