Environmental Art Design Research On The Communication Space Of University Library

This is a thesis researching on environmental for the communication space of university library art design.Recently, with the development of academic education of our country, the university library is transfer from single traditional library to the organization with comprehensive multi-functional. University library provides the information of different fields and consultation serve, and the place with study, scientific research and associate. The communication space of university library is the very building for students. It should encourage any kind of communication between teachers and students. However, perhaps because of misunderstanding about the communication and the essence of the communication space, the environmental art design of communication space is not satisfied in many university libraries. Under the background, this thesis sets to research on the communication space of university library, and intents to induce the conception and design method.The article consists of five parts as following.Chapter I puts forward the backgrounds and the origin of the thesis, expounds the purpose, the meaning and the extent. Chapter II mainly narrates the general situation of the communication space of university library in our country and other countries. Chapter III analyzes the environmental art design methods of each communication space of university library. Chapter IV is the important chapter of this paper: according to the front theory, chapter IV gives out relative conception of the environmental art design about how to solve the problem in the communication space of university library. At last, this chapter approaches the developing trend of the communication space of university library. Chapter V introduces three typical examples of environmental art of communication space: new campus library of Shandong Jianzhu University, Japan Tama Art University library and Shenzhen library. At the same time, the paper analyses the successful experience and less successful respect in the example.This article aims for one thing at pointing out certain ideas and conceptions concerning environmental for the communication space of university library art design, and for another, at exploring a legitimate way of environmental for the communication space of library art design. In the end, I expect that all the teachers and students can enjoy themselves of the communication space of university library.
