21st century is a new era of intellectual economy and innovation economy, and the education reform system is innovated continuously. Under the promotion, it has become the common demand for people to access to high education, so national high schools have gained unprecedented chances of development. The governments at various levels pay high attention to promote the project of"university town". Under such circumstance, many new projects and expansion projects of universities in lots of cities rushed in a short time. However, under the new situation, a number of problems are faced to be explored and solved during the construction of high schools, for example, it's necessary to intensify comprehensive and multi-function campus during the expansion of high schools; it also need to develop network and centralized campus under the information technique times; education industry requires open and social campus; high-level human concerns are needed while the knowledge of modern graduates is expanded. All these problems directly affect the plan structure of the campus in our modern universities. Under the frame of sustainable design concept, this thesis uses the relative theory research achievement of urban space design and explores the effects on the changes of high education concept and the environment-psychology behavior theory of the students. Through analysis of plan example and research of relative theory, the essay tries to find the method of campus plan and campus space design in new-type universities. Combining with the existing campus plan project, the essay further discusses its scientificity, practicality and rationalization in order to learn the lesson for the extensive construction and redevelopment of urban university projects at present.
