Precision centrifuge is a high-precision test equipment of inertialnavigation system which is used for calibrating characteristics of accelerometersin the circumstances of highoverloading.The accuracy of acceleration andattitude generated by the rotating of centrifuge has direct influence on thecalibrating precision of accelerometer. If there is any imbalance in the precisioncentrifuge's rotor, the vibration caused by unbalance will have a great impact oncalibration accuracy of the accelerometer. In addition, excessive vibration will bea threat to the safety of equipments'operation. To eliminate or reduce the existingunbalance in centrifuge's rotor and improve the accuracy and efficiency, it isnecessary to establish a dynamic balancing system(DBS).Therefore, therealization of DBS has an extremely important realistic significance.According to the structural characteristics of precision centrifuge,this paperadopts a unique approach–"comprehensive calculation method"to calculate theunbalance, and completes the function of DBS. Meanwhile, an indepthanalysison some problems are conducted in this paper.Data from the dynamic balancing signal measuring system needsappropriate treatment, then it can be used for the unbalance calculating. The firstharmonic of vibration signals generated by imbalance is separated from the datausing Fast Fourier Transform algorithm. But the amplitudes and phases as a resultof FFT algorithm have a difference with the actual values, and this paperexpatiates the distinction. Otherwise, this paper analyses the spindle's roundnesserror and the system's frequency characteristics. Finally, all impacts should becompensated in the DBS software.The DBS software has been developed with Visual C++. The software hasbeen applied in the centrifuge's dynamic balancing process and has achievedgood results. The software achieves a complex algorithm using hybridprogramming with Matlab and Visual C++ based on Matcom, and improve theefficiency of software development.Finally, The execation components of DBS is introduced. According to system requirements, the datainputingsoftware for touchingscreenand PLCprogramming is implemented.
