Land for construction purpose in coastal areas is needed badly. Meanwhile, the soil of most of these areas is deep saturated soft clay. Obviously, It's a subject with great economic value to know how to make use of this soil in these areas.The characteristics of saturated soft clay are high moisture content, high compressibility, low shearing strength and low permeability. Dynamic drain consolidation is a new foundation treatment method developed for several years. It is successful in some practical examples. Dissipation of excess pore water pressure and how to evaluate the treatment effects are the key points of this method. There are not uniform theory and calculation model about this method in theory discuss, indoor experiments, field tests and calculation because of the complicated engineering geologic condition of soil horizons. This paper tries to get revelation from the physical phenomenon that electrons will transit when they get energy. It is undoubted that this process is an energy transformation process and some weak bound moisture gain some energy from dynamic compaction and convert into free water. Meanwhile, dynamic compaction also makes the permeability of saturated soft clay raise, and plastic drain makes the drainage of saturated soft clay easier. These are the key points that pore water pressure can dissipate quickly. Then this paper using grey theory creates prediction model on the treatment effects of saturated soft clay with dynamic and drain consolidation and write a corresponding computer program with Matlab language about this process.At last analyses some factors and determines their different influence on the treatment effects of dynamic compaction by strength analysis in grey thoery and selects construction plan by analytic hierarchy process.All of these jobs put forwards a new aspect of further research on the mechanism of dynamic and drain consolidation. The grey predicting model will help people to find more new information from less old information. At last it is useful for determining the design plan by strength analysis and analytic hierarchy process.
