Social progress and rapid development of steel structure's industrialization promotes rapid development of the world's steel structure architecture. However, how to make steel structure safer and more economical is also a problem which people widely pay attention to. Steel plate shear wall with slits is a new anti-lateral force structure which has good benefits and wide development foreground, is especially the same with high-intensity earthquake area architecture.The contrast analysis of the performances on the structure element of steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits and the element of steel plate shear wall with slits are conducted under each parameter and each parameter ratio and the influence rules are worked out. The structure element of steel frame is brought in and the contrast analysis of the mechanical characteristics and the hysteretic performances of the three kinds of structure elements are conducted. The main jobs are as follows:1.The finite element compute models of the structure element of steel frame, the element of steel plate shear wall with slits and the structure element of steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits are set up. The feasibility of finite element method used in this article is proved by using the experimentation equipment in literature.2.The analysis of performances on the element of steel plate shear wall with slits is conducted under entire design parameter ratio and with-slit design parameter ratio. The element with the best performance of steel plate shear wall with slits is selected under each parameter ratio and meanwhile the influence rules about the performance on the element of steel plate shear wall with slits, the compute formulas of lateral resistant stiffness and destruction load are obtained under each parameter ratio.3.The analysis of performances on the structure element of steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits is conducted under design parameter ratio and different vertical loads. The influence rules about the performance on the structure element of steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits are obtained under each parameter ratio and different vertical loads. The contrast analysis of performances of the element of steel plate shear wall with slits is conducted.4.The contrast analysis of the mechanical characteristics and hysteretic performances of the three kinds of structure elements as steel frame, steel plate shear wall with slits and steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits is conducted. The results show that steel frames are in concretion with the four sides of the structure element of steel plate shear wall with slits before they can cooperate with each other better. (Lateral resistant stiffness, supporting capacity and hysteretic performances) The compute formulas of the lateral stiffness and supporting capacity of the structure element of steel frame-steel plate shear wall with slits are worked out according to the analysis results.
