The roller is playing an increasingly important roll in, such as, road, air port, water conservancy, and architecture construction etc. But, so far, the vibratory and impacting technology is just respectively applied to project construction, as separate compaction technology. The integrated compaction technology of vibration and impact is a new compaction technique after the impact compaction technology. The new technology integrated vibrating, impacting and static compaction together can obtain the effective composite of vibration and impact and static compaction.In the past, the research of the compaction effect with the integrated compaction technology of vibration and impact has been limited to the stage of simulation, which is waiting to be further conducted by the experiment method. And this also is the next urgent research task.In this paper, according to the patent (CN1730835) successfully applied by professor ZhangHong, the experiment prototype ,which can achieve the integration of the vibrating and impacting compaction, was initially designed with the static method. And the designed drawings of prototype structure were obtained. Based on the loads outside and the geometric parameters in the designed drawings of Prototype structure, the mechanical model of the load outside, such as the vibrating and impacting load ,was established . Next, the finite element model was established with the ANSYS. At last, the natural vibration and dynamic response property under the impacting and vibrating load outside was analyzed through the software ANSYS, by finite element method.The purpose of the modal analysis is researching the main modal characteristics of the prototype between 0 and 25Hz frequency range affected easily. This also can help us to calculate the possible vibration response of the prototype under the excitation of the loads insides and outsides. We can find the kurtosis frequency and the possibility of such as the resonance and the other destructive vibration of the prototype through the harmonic analysis. The dynamic strength, rigidity and reliability under the concrete vibrating and impacting loads were researched through the transient analysis.The chief task of this paper is investigating the prototype whether can work safely, stably and reliably or not, and improving the structure of the prototype, according to the dynamic analysis result.
