Study Of Fleet Planning Of Dalian Land-Island Transport

Dalian Land-Island transport is an important component of Dalian waterway transport and it is also the only mode of transport between land and islands. It is closely related to the people's living,working and the development of tourism. So it has always been paid attention by the State Governments and Department of Transportation at all levels. The main purpose of this paper is to make the Dalian Land-Island transport fleet planning research using the relevant theories and methods of fleet planning through theoretical research and empirical analysis on the basis of the present situation. This research will provide a frame of reference for the actual operation of Land-Island transport of Dalian and other areas of our country.The paper first reviews the predecessors' theory and practical application research results on the Land-Island transport, on the basis of which, raises the main problems of Dalian Land-Island transport fleet planning by analyzing the present situation of Dalian Land-Island transport.Then, in Chapter 3, the paper uses proportion method and Combination forecasting model to forecast passenger volume of Dalian Land-Island transport in the following five years on the basis of characteristics, based on historical data, which provide a foundation for the fleet planning. In Chapter 4, the paper establishes the optimization ship-form model using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and then solve the model with the present situation of ships which are on operation, the results of which is optimization ship-form of each line of Dalian Land-Island transport in the following five years.Finally in the Chapter 5, the paper firstly point out the general principles of Dalian Land-Island transport fleet planning then establish the model on the basis of minimum cost, then makes the analysis for the results on the basis of actual situation.Hope that this research can provide a reference value to solve similar problems in future.
