Railway is the main artery of the national economy, and the task of passenger and freight transport that is undertaken is very heavy. With the enhancement of traversal speed,the train safety occupies an important position; the key that will affect the train safety is the performance of brake valve and the core of the braking system is the distribution valve. To ensure the performance of the distribution valve , we need test the performance of brake valve to ensure the safe operation of vehicle.At present, we use 705 test rig and 120 test rig to test its performance. But for the test time is long and even some performances of valve need to be detected at the low temperature,Therefore the demand of small volume test rig appears. Small volume test rig can reduce the volume of the equipment,and it's very convenient to use at low temperature. At the same time it will shorten test time and reduce cost. This paper uses this software for the 120 computer simulation system to simulate and compare the 705 test rig with 120 test rig. By puttiing the same valve to simulate on the two test rigs, we explore the standards of small volume test rig to seek the standards of small volume test rig that are equivalent to the standards of 705 test rig. The work will benefit for the future development of test rig and testing valve performance.The test standard of small volume test rig must be equivalent to the test standard of former test rig, this paper use the simulation system which base on the air flow theory, finding the qualify boundary valve of 705 test rig, Using these qualify boundary valves ,we do some simulation test at small volume test rig, finding the corresponding test standard. In this way, we establish the test standard of small volume test rig. There isn't boundary valve of some tests, such as: stability test,accelerated release test,filling exhaust tests and main valve release test. We find a qualify valve and a disqualification valve which near the the boundary valve of 705 test rig, Using two boundary valves ,we do some simulation test at small volume test rig, to see the results whether accordance with 705 test rig or not.By simulating and comparing ,we find that the experiments are divided into three categories: In accordance with the inflatable and exhaust, we divided into the following experiments: Inflatable Experiment, Emergency Two Phase Experiment, Release Experiment,Flux Experiment, Brake Cylinder Release Experiment, Auxiliary Reservoir and Accelerated Release Reservoir Experiment, Emergency Room Inflatable Experiment, Emergency Room Exhaust Experiment. If such tests test on small volume test rig,by comparing the standards to the standards of 705 test rig,the inflatable and exhaust time is about half the time of the original 705 test. In accordance with the sensitivity, we divided into the following experiments: Application Valve Performance Experiment,Braking and Release Sensitivity Experiment, Emergency Sensitivity Experiment, Stability Test. If such tests test on small volume test rig ,the standards of Application Valve Performance Experiment and Stability Test are the same to the standards of 705 test rig; the emergency sensitivity of small volume test rig is higher than the original 705 test rig, the need for new small-volume test standards and we need establish the standards for the small volume test rig.By a plenty of simulation and the compartion of the test results, we establish the standards for the small volume test rig. The purpose of this article is to find an effective means for the future design of the new volume test rig and new valve to provide reference and reference.
