| In order to change the status of passport inspection in our country and accelerate the process of issuing e-passport, the research on inspection system for e-passport is becoming more and more important.This paper focuses on the verification technology of e-passport and the implementation of inspection system, which purpose is to design an efficient, reliable and accurate prototype inspection system of e-passport for the Division of Entry-Exit Administrative Departments and other Security Departments.Based on global interoperability objective of ICAO, and after analyzing the requirement of inspection system of e-passport, the author presents a framework model of the inspection system, and then designs the architecture of the inspection system in detail for Division of Entry-Exit Administrative Departments of our country and some provinces.This paper researches mainly on the prototype inspection terminal system of e-passport, and analyzes firstly the three key functions of inspection terminal system. The first is protecting the data security among communication of the system and the e-passport. The second is accomplishing authentication of the e-passport. The third is authenticating the person who is the legal owner of the e-passport. And then the realization flow of the three key functions has been analyzed detailedly.Based on the analysis data of an actual e-passport, this paper designs its logical data structure (LDS) and inspection flow. And then the system has been tested, which result shows that the system is stable and reliable.Recently, not all of functions of the system are put into action. Besides, some functions and technology of the system should be improved. However, it will be important reference for the future inspection system. |
