Decision-Making System On The Selection Of Coal-transpotation Ship

Because of the heavy snow over the provinces of the South in 2008,the supply and demand of the domestic coal has been tightly again. To revive the normal coal-railway ransportation, reasonable arrangements for water transportation of coal transportation on economic point of view will solve the transport bottleneck all to nothing. Shipping is a shipping tool the shipping companies operate, and the types of selected ships will directly affect shipping companies operating goals. As a result, the ship selecting has been a great important work for shipping companies, and also an important research direction for the management of shipping companies.After analysing Chinese coal production and supply-demand, in accordance with the technical, economic, security equirements, this paper combines the characteristics of the coal transport ship, and set up a system of index. Against the traditional AHP compared to the much subjective index weight, this paper gets the 0-2 index of AHP, which is the improved MAHP, to determine more easily in the index. And then apply weighted sums approach, it assess a variety of programs to find the optimal one. It aims at not only the single-ship demonstration, but also the fleet demonstration the basis of the economic operation. At the same time, the VB-based program and computer algorithm for evaluation-MAHP, as well as man-machine interface are designed, and a computer-assisted decision-model is created. At last the software system tests the feasibility of running for specific examples, analyses and conclude the results, then that pay attention to some problems.This paper combines the Index System in demonstration and MAHP principle, for the situation of coal transportation, evaluate program with weighted sums approach. In this way, it considers not only the technical and economic parameters, but also the views of experts, so that the optimization program is more comprehensive, objective and accurate; at the same time, the use of modern computer technology can improved the efficiency of selection, also contributes to theory and technical basis for optimization.
