This article takes architecture of the Daimiao and the Patenong temple for example, base on the aesthetics compare and study of the architecture material, architecture decoration, architecture space, beauty intention of the two architectures, revealing out the different of aesthetics between Chinese and Western tradition architecture.There are many obvious differences on philosophy background, tradition culture, value viewpoint, aesthetics standard between the two society, this produce huge effects on the architecture, and show the different architecture aesthetics spirit on the architecture layout, materials, color, decoration etc. Daimiao takes wood as material, whereas the Patenong temple uses stone as main material; Daimiao emphasize the group layout, but the Patenong temple emphasize the independent character, The color of Daimiao develop cycle generation Yin and Yang five elements theory ,and it has been given to strong ethics concept, the decorates color of the Patenong temple variety distinctly, shine out the typical west religion subject.The article consider architecture is the important form of culture, The connotation of philosophy and culture decide the architecture form. The differences of the two architecture aesthetics styles rest with the diversity connotation of Chinese and Western's philosophy and culture. This article try to discover the similarity and difference of architecture through comparison and analyze the aesthetics style with the point of culture, then discover contact and distinguish of the culture and aesthetics which embody by the architecture. In a word, the Chinese tradition architecture takes person as centre in space layout, structure, decoration design and etc, which embody the theory that man is an integral part of nature; the west ancient architecture takes the God as centre, shows religion feeling intensely.
