Industrial Heritage Landscape Regeneration Design Tendentiousness Research

Since Industrial Revolution, human society has undergone earth-shaking changes. And the world becomes smaller and smaller under the effect of industrial revolution, at the same time the rapid development of the industry also brought huge harm to the environment. Along with the worldwide social and economic transformation, cities and industries have undergone significant changes. Under this great historical background, many industrial enterprises which has outmoded techniques, inefficient management or with heavy pollution are facing the serious problems such as being eliminated or closed or bankrupted or need be reformed, and moreover for this reason many industrial wasteland has been spoilt.With the social, economic and culture development, the problem that how to deal with the industrial wasteland becomes more and more significant gradually. People once blindly believed that the industrial wasteland should be pulled down and then to be rebuilt again for new industrial one, but the fact proved that this practice is not correct. Along with the social development, at present, people have widely acknowledged and recognized the importance of the industrial heritages. In china, the work on the conservation and re-use of the industrial heritages is still in its initial stage. Meanwhile, in the western countries, many architects and scholars have been already making great efforts in this field for more than forty years. As the induplication of the heritage resources, we urgently need to work out the suitable method for its regeneration; in order to better protect these industrial heritages which had played an important role and had a great historical impact on the world.Based on the history of the industry development, in this paper, we firstly discussed the significant effect which the industry impact on human society, on this basis we reviewed the new modern definition of the industrial heritage and how this definition came out. Then we analyzed and summarized the successful transformation cases of the industrial heritage home and abroad, moreover, made some advanced intensive investigation of the industrial landscape, refined out a series comparative overall design for the development tendency of the industrial heritage landscape regeneration, furthermore give some feasible suggestions for development tendency of the industrial heritage landscape regeneration in our country.
