Research On Landscape Regeneration Design Of Urban Railway Wasteland From The Perspective Of Heritage Protection ——Taking The Northeast Ring Line Of Zhengzhou Railway Hub As An Example

With the rapid development of China’s railway industry and the popularity of high-speed railway,many railways have been eliminated by the times due to the adjustment of traffic network or low carrying capacity.The former industrial civilization has gradually become a gray area across the land.The railway wasteland running through the city separates urban development,wastes urban land resources,and also highlights a series of social and environmental problems.The traditional demolition and reconstruction does not conform to the concept of sustainable development,nor can it continue the industrial culture contained in the abandoned railway.Therefore,it is urgent to explore the design strategy of landscape regeneration of urban railway wasteland based on the perspective of heritage protection.Combined with the current national economic form and policy background,this paper summarizes the necessity and methodology of the research on Railway wasteland.Then it analyzes the related concepts of industrial heritage,Railway Heritage and landscape regeneration,and puts forward the theoretical basis of industrial heritage protection,sustainable development,greenway and landscape ecology.Based on the research progress and excellent practice cases at home and abroad,a theoretical framework for research on Regeneration Design of railway wasteland from the perspective of heritage protection is constructed.According to the concepts of industrial heritage and the theoretical framework of Landscape Regeneration Design of railway wasteland,this paper summarizes the landscape regeneration design strategy of railway wasteland based on the perspective of heritage protection,and expounds the application of the strategy in the actual scheme.Firstly,the design strategy of railway culture continuation is studied from three aspects: the inheritance of regional characteristics,the continuation of place spirit and the shaping of historical landscape;Secondly,the design method of ecological environment reconstruction is studied from three aspects: environmental pollution remediation,site resource utilization and plant community optimization;Finally,combined with the regeneration of the structure and function of the railway wasteland,this paper reshapes the spatial form of the wasteland from three aspects: historical scene reproduction,sensory color endowing and spatial structure reconstruction,and finally completes the research on the design strategy of the landscape regeneration of the railway wasteland.Combined with the practical application of relevant strategies in relevant cases at home and abroad,in order to provide theoretical support for the practice of landscape regeneration of railway wasteland in China.Based on the landscape regeneration design of the railway wasteland in the Northeast ring road of Zhengzhou railway hub,the summarized design strategies are applied in practice.Zhengzhou is a famous transportation hub city in China.With the urban development of Zhengzhou and the transformation of transportation mode,the abandoned railway across the city has become a gray area that separates the urban development and causes environmental problems.Zhengzhou is one of the nine central cities in China.The regeneration of railway wasteland landscape plays an important role in promoting the overall urban environment.Based on the investigation on the urban characteristics and site status of Zhengzhou,applying the landscape regeneration design strategy of urban railway wasteland,according to the site characteristics and surrounding environment analysis,based on the perspective of industrial heritage protection,and in combination with the development history of urban railway,the scheme is divided into seven sections: Urban history section,natural music Park section,locomotive memory section,railway culture section,economic experience section,cultural integration section and creative sports section.The functional space of each sub district is divided according to the characteristics of the surrounding people.The functional space of the project is connected by the main roads,and the water system planning in the site is combined to form a Railway Cultural Park with obvious regional characteristics,clear site context and reasonable functional zoning.The overall design takes "pulse · movement" as the design concept,takes the track combination form of the train marshalling yard as the design inspiration,and takes the stitching of the urban landscape divided by the railway as the goal,striving to build the railway wasteland in the city into a landscape corridor with strong regional cultural atmosphere,so as to improve the urban greening network,improve the urban environment and improve the urban quality.
