In the recent years, the fuel oil price rose continually, so that the cost of fuel which used to warm asphalt is getting larger and larger. According to the comparison, we discovered burnt coal is more economical compared to the fuel oil. Therefore we hoped this technology can be applied in the project by improvement, which can reduce the cost. At present, most of the burners are at the state of high fuel consumption and serious pollution in china. It is important to improve heat efficiency of furnace and bring down the environment pollution. The target of my thesis is mainly to design the combustion control system of burner which based on the advanced control method.This paper is focused on two points. Firstly, the control algorithm and control laws of the system were designed and realized. We discussed the fuzzy algorithm, the PID algorithm and the project realization specifically. A design method of the fuzzy-PID controller is presented here. This controller combines Fuzzy control with PID control, performs the PID parameters self-turning in the control system. Secondly, the embed system with the core of S7-200PLC is designed. It might realize functions of data acquisition, data processing and so on. The system introduced the hardware and the software design in detail and completed the correlation equipment shaping. And some practical measures of embedded system are introduced.The present work was closely connected to the practical application, and during the research, we got the general data and information which can be used by the study of other burner.
