Integrating rich field experiences of coal combustion in thermal power and cement rotary kiln home as well as abroad and combining advanced technology in asphalt concrete industry and fuel combustion technology we have developed a coal / oil dual burner, which features: it achieves great combustion efficiency of coal dust with addition of just 5% to 10% of the light oil and it also supports oil combustion. In this way it's especially desirable in case of worksites relocation, large differences in fuel prices and change of work conditions, since it's possible to switch from one sort of fuel to the other to sustain continual production or slash production cost.At present, the first NCB coal burner has been put into application at worksite for almost three years, and achieved excellent results, our design team also have made a lot of improvement and it's all-out development of the second generation of coal scattered injection of pulverized coal burner.Under the guidance of teacher and mentor the author made numerical calculation with the CFD simulation applied to the coal / oil burner development and is intent to solve the coal burner short life problem. The burner works without pre-combustion chamber, it has a moderate length of flame, it ensures dry cylinder discharge temperature stability (deviations within±5℃), boasts a fuel consumption rate of less than 6.5kg / t finished materials, coal consumption rate of less than 10.8kg / t finished material (more than 32% volatile coal, low heating value greater than 200 mesh bituminous coal 25MJ/kg of powder) and delivers powder color moderate color (white) of reclaimed powder by dust collector.
