The Research Of "Multi-dimension" Controlling In Construcion Project Costs

As China's economy entered a new stage of rapid development, the Construction Industry has opened a broad prospect for development. However, the current status of controlling the Construction Cost is not so optimistic. Though we took a number of cost-controlling measures in recent years, the phenomenon of the 3-waste in construction costs and the waste of resource occur frequently, leading to the delay of the project procedure. Thus, the theory and methods of how to solve the problem of controlling Construction Project Cost is a key problem in my essay.The controlling theory is based on the controlling of the construction cost. And it makes full use of the network, searches the latest data at home and abroad and compares and learns from excellent domestic and international papers and advanced ideas. In the course , a large amount of engineering-practice data is collected and studied from a multiple points of view. Then the typical engineering practices and experiences are combined and the "elements of dimension", "stage dimension", "process dimension" and "environment dimension" are put forward. They all belong to the construction project cost controlling systems and have a practical value in managing the construction project.The contents of the thesis include four parts:The first, the construction project cost management are explained, and at the same time, the current condition and problems in it are investigated. The main content, objectives and methods of"multi-dimension"in controlling construction project cost are introducedThe second, the basic theories of"multi-dimension"controlling in Construction Project Costs and the connotations of "elements of dimension", "stage dimension", "process dimension" and "environment dimension" in project costs are introduced.The third, based on the cost-controlling principle in construction project, combined with the typical practice , analyzed the construction project cost according to the engineering principles, a practical advice is put forward.The last, the applications and development trends in applying"multi-dimension"controlling theories in Construction Project Costs are concluded.
