The competiton of elevator market is becaming more and more aggressive, so it give more pressure to elevator company to develop more and more new competitive product to win the market. So, we must adopt new design method and technology to speed up the develop period of elevator and improve the product's performance and reduce the product's cost.This paper studied the CAD/CAE and DOE technology using on carframe design of an elevator.The paper's main content are as following:1)Summarized the current status of elevator development,and also introduced a series of new design technologies and pointed out CAD/CAD and DOE's current development.2) Modularized the elevator system based on the system and function analysis and defined the interface relation of each sub-system. Also summarized the flow chart of CAD/CAE and DOE design method.3) Studied the elevator system structure to summarize the detail design criteria based on the code and structure requirements.4)Made the structure model and function structure model. Analyzed and optimized the model to get the right structure parameters. Regenerated model by optimized parameter's value.5)Analyzed the types of vibration of elevator and then defined the main effected factors, then designed the experiments based on DOE method, and generated the determined curve between the vibration of the car and relation of car mass and the spring K factor of the Hitch .Using the CAD/CAE technology on the carframe structure design, the developing period and drawing quality improved a lot. And the vibration improved much through the DOE method.
