Study On Village Landscape Layout Characteristic And Pattern In Hunan Province

The rural residential area is the product of the nature and the human activities and also is the space vector with compound function. It is useful to understanding countryside residential area structure and the function evolution rule for better, and providing data and technical support to the village construction work thorough the analysis of layout characteristic.On the basis of the land use maps, topographic maps, transportation maps, and field surveys ,using the relevant theories and research methods of landscape ecology, the analysis of the landscape characteristic of rural residential area layout in Hanshou County was be made from different topography, population and economy, by calculating landscape indexes. Study discovered that, the rural residential layout in Hanshou County was most strongly affected by terrain. As the terrain from Hilly areas and low mountainous area of the south to the middle region and Lakes region of the north, the scale of the rural residential area increased gradually, the shape ruled gradually, the degree of fragmentation and separation reduced. The plaque size and the overall characteristic of the rural residential area layout were affected to some extent by the income per fanners. Only the countryside residential area layout overall characteristic was affected by population density. Proposed six kinds of rural residential area layout pattern of Hanshou County, such as the banding, the network, the crotch, the incompletely centralized, the disorder, the asterism, including all layout forms of Hanshou County. The certification measures and the development suggestion have been proposed by the analysis of its causes, the pros and cons. The banding, the network, and the crotch were the characteristic layout pattern ofHanshou County, with existence value about society and ecology.
