Research On New Type Of Forming Shoulder In Packaging Machinery

Forming shoulder is a key component of vertical (horizontal) forming, filling and sealing packaging machine, which performance decises the entire packaging machinery's running rate and performance directly, only if the forming shoulder's structure is designed suitable, the manufacture's precision is high enough, which can ensure the production quality and operation speed of forming, filling and sealing packaging machine well. The forming shoulder is widely used in packaging machine; therefore, it becomes key research object in packaging machinery.In order to enrich the forming shoulder's type, provide more choose to designer and user, improve the performance of existing forming shoulders, this article has mainly studied on two kinds of new forming shoulders, as the new multi-conical surface type and new non- wing type forming shoulders. According to the characteristic of forming shoulder whose working surface may unfold to a plane, obtained its mathematical model with the three-dimensional geometry knowledge, including the spatial/plane bending curves, the boundary curves, the working surfaces, and established their three-dimensional model under Pro/E to confirm the model's accuracy, determined the models'key parameters, and has studied the key parameters'scope and relationship between them, has analyzed the influence of parameter's variation to the model, and has carried on the mechanical properties analysis.Moreover, has analyzed the existing forming shoulder's merits and shortcomings, in view of the flaws which exist in the existing forming shoulder, this article also proposed the simplified design and manufacture forming shoulder's design idea and the zoom type forming shoulder's design mentality; Finally has carried on the contrast to many existing kinds of forming shoulder's performances, and induced these several kinds of forming shoulder's suitable using object.This article's research has enriched the existing forming shoulder's type, improved the forming shoulder's performance in a certain level, also had pointed out the forming shoulder's research and development direction, its conclusion could also provide reference to the designer and user.
