| The energy of the sun is limitless. Generating electricity by solar energy is a way to transform the solar energy into electricity. The semiconductors which can straightly fulfill this task are called as solar cell. It is estimated that the solar energy on the earth each year is equivalent to 3000 times of all the energy made by other fuels. Therefore, the electricity generated by solar energy is one of the most ideal new energy in the 21st century.Firstly, the current status and development of photovoltaic technology around the world were briefly introduced, the principle of silicon solar battery,the calculation methods of some parameters, the design thought of PV, and the BIPV and PV design idea etc were elucidated. the I-V characteristic of the solar battery war tested; the solar energy system were assembled and detected.Secondly, for resolving the problem of the integration of building and photovoltaic system,by choosing the cement and the clay as the foundation, photovoltaic tile manufacture was completed. The complete work mainly includes: the structure design of the photovoltaic tile, the structure design of the photovoltaic tile model, the sintering of clay, the design of cement, the style resisting compression, resistance to break, water absorption rate, density and so on. The results indicated that the performance of cement PV tile has been improved.Finally, aluminum alloy was chosen as the frame design photovoltaic tile to imitate roof construction system.
